S/4HANA Cloud Application Consultant – Finance

Job Summary:

To join the S/4HANA Cloud practice within Sapphire. The Application Consultant will need skills in SAP Finance. Knowledge of S/4HANA Public Cloud or certification in this product is a distinct advantage. Knowledge of S/4HANA On-Premise or Private Cloud is advantageous.

This will be to work initially on mid-market projects in the US and therefore experience of working in the mid-market is an advantage.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Work on client projects to provide SAP consultancy at a functional level.

• Explain financial concepts and subject matter expertise in line with the solution.

• Create documentation such as BDCQ’s, Solution Design Documents, Process Documents, Key Design Decision Documents, Configuration Documents, UAT Test Case Scenarios, Findings & Recommendations Outcomes, Presentation material for solutioning and concepts based on the Fit-To-Standard scenario

• Undergo SAP Certification in SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

• Travel to client site as and when needed.

• Some opportunities to work remotely depending on client requirements.

• Provide input into pre-sales opportunities as and when needed.

• Possibility of travel to international travel on occasional basis.

Maintains an up to date knowledge and zest for the latest trends and utilizes this understanding to bring innovation to our ways of working.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Technical:

• Substantial hands-on experience in implementing and working with S/4HANA Public Cloud is highly desired. Alternatively, a strong background in S/4HANA Private Cloud with demonstrable expertise and a willingness to transition to Public Cloud is acceptable.
• Profound understanding and practical application of SAP Financial Accounting & Close, Management Accounting, Margin Analysis, Project Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Financial Consolidation & Group Reporting, and Treasury Management within cloud-based environments.
• Configuration, customization, and optimization skills specific to S/4HANA Cloud instances, focusing on finance modules.
• Proficiency in integrating various SAP modules and exploring innovative solutions within the SAP ecosystem.
• Experience in leveraging SAP's latest technologies, ensuring clients benefit from cutting-edge advancements.

Education, Training and Experience:

• University degree or equivalent technical/IT education.
• At least 10 years of experience in SAP ECC.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in S/4HANA Private Cloud, preferably with exposure to S/4HANA Public Cloud for over 6 months.

Pay & Benefits:

The salary range for this role is from $150,000 - $180,000 USD + a variable compensation component based on individual, team, and company performance metrics.
