Job Summary:

The purpose of this role is to drive the promotion and purchase of Sapphires Enterprise Offering and to maintain and encourage relationships with our global clients.

The successful candidate must be self-disciplined, as you will be joining a thriving self-motivated Sales team to engage with new prospective clients all over the globe, identifying all potential business opportunities. You must be able to identify and work with key decision makers whilst developing and qualifying leads within the targeted markets.

The Sales team are targeted on numbers of meetings, pilots and deals signed. This company has an exemplary track-record of nurturing graduates and promoting from within.


Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Prospect existing Sapphire client accounts and pitch for new business
  • Oversee and grow the client’s relationships with our large client base
  • Own specific client relationships
  • Understand the client’s business and develop strategies and processes to increase the use of our clients offering within each organisation
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders in each business
  • Understand the client’s business and developing strategy and process for increasing the use of the software within each organisation
  • Identify all potential business opportunities
  • Articulate the value proposition and help the prospect understand how it will improve their business, in parallel with earning trust and developing relationships
  • Begin your continued learning of the Enterprise Industry, allowing you to move into more senior positions within Sapphires Commercial team
  • Daily use of CRM system HubSpot, keeping up to date with all details of prospects, customers, contacts, sales activity and customer feedback
  • Keep our diary system up to date with all activities in or out of the office
  • Produce realistic/accurate sales forecasts as required
  • Follow up all sales opportunities within the agreed target times and update the CRM system in a timely manner accordingly
  • Attend marketing events such as seminars, exhibitions, user meetings etc to help look after attendees or help with on stand activities
  • Attend and contribute constructively to sales meetings
  • Engage with clients to ensure Contract renewals
  • Produce high quality, technically and commercially sound quotations / proposals, adhering to company procedures and standards

Education, Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree is favourable but not essential.


Other duties: (If applicable)

This is a hybrid role. You will be expected to work 2/3 days in our head office, The Shard, London Bridge. The rest of the time, you will be working from home.

You may be expected to travel at times within this role.
